What’s new?

Well the sun is out for one! I’ve suddenly got a bout of writer’s flow, rather than block, in the artistic sense!

Today creations were just coming one after the other, and then I was able to set the hardier ones into the sunshine to move them forwards. Today was a restful platter day. I enjoyed making four new creations… each lady either lying down to rest or standing like a calm serene monument amongst leaves and petals, and forget-me-nots.

Other new creations have been the discovery of lilac glass pooled into my little pinch pots. I think I should rename these as “Treasure pots” which look warm and refreshing at the same time with their new hue.

Gold leaf has also been introduced to some of these little pots. They do look quite delicious! My first little ones found their way to the RT Gallery in Merstham on Saturday, and amazingly to their new homes by the end of the day!

I have more creations to complete for mid July as The Green Tree Gallery at Borde Hill will open “Figuratively Speaking” on the 13th until mid August. Torsos, Restful Platters and thoughtful figure will all be having their first “revealing”.
